It is either today or tomorrow when Lou Gherig replaced Wally Pipp and went on to play 2130 consecutive games. Lou actually played his Minor League baseball in Hartford, CT and I know in his barnstorming days played at Newfield Park in Bridgeport. I never got to shake hands with Gherig but I did with DiMaggio!
