Extended Weekend Beer Review!

Starting early!

1) Lagunitas - Daytime IPA - 4.9% - A fractional IPA or so they call it. Very drinkable and a go to beer!

2) Hoppin Frog - Barrel Aged Naked Evil - 11.3% Aged in Whiskey Barrels - Holy shit is this sweet.  There is absolutely no carbonation, you get some caramel and coconut.  This is a real sipper!  Been wanting to try this for a while and I have 3 more bottles (although not for tonight).

I built this Beer Blog Beer Review!

In light of the umentionable (Empty Chair) in Charlotte (as well as the Yankees tanking)

1) Firestone Walker - Double DBA - 12% - Old Ale - Pour a nice opaque caramel brown. Pretty light looking but the taste definitely makes up. Vanilla, Coconut, Caramel....hey is there a bit of hops there! Although it is a cliche, need to cellar one!

Weekend Beer Review!

1)Flying Dog - El Dorado Single Hop - DIPA 10.0% - Not that intrigued by this hop. Nice I guess?

2) Ommegang - Biere D' Hougoumont - 7.3% - Biere De Garde - Love this and I am a hop fanatic. No hops are noticeable but the funk is there! Well done!

3) Cisco Brewers (Island Reserve) - Russian Imperial Stout - 13.5% - Tasty little stout that belies its ABV. Definitely get cocoa, vanilla and a bit of smoke here. Thanks Gator!

4) Great Divide - Wolfgang 8.0% - Dopplebock. Not me favorite style - If you are going to do this make a barleywine!
