We're Number 1!

Apparently America leads the world with per capita gun ownership. While I don't own a gun (and probably should not be trusted with a water pistol), having the government being the only armed entity is certainly more scary than that article. The Democrats took over Congress by electing what is referred to as 'Blue Dog Democrats' from the south who would generally support gun ownership rights. The Democrats have basically abandoned gun control as an issue and it will be interesting to see how this is addressed in upcoming debates.
