Don't Get bitter!
Here is my contribution to raise the discourse in American Politics. Name your favorite Belgian Ale. I expect copius comments from Adam. No easy way outs like Rochefort 10!
t The Rochefort 10 is definitely top dog. I also really like the Westvleteren 12. Another one of my favorites is a Belgian Ale that's actually brewed in the Netherlands, Struis (from Brouwerij 't IJ).The Struis may just be my 2nd favorite behind the 10. For something a bit hoppy I'd go with an Orval. You certainly can't go wrong with any of the three Chimay.The best lambics are, hands down, those from Cantillon. There are also some fine domestic Belgian Ales, such as those from Ommegang and Allagash. There are so many fine ales to choose from. I could go on all night, but then we run into that whole bandwidth thing again. I'll e-mail you some more suggestions.
